Prayer For The Fallen Ouija Board by Anne Stokes
The ouija board also known as a spirit board or talking board has the Prayer For The Fallen design created by Anne Stokes with a dark planchette with feather design as a movement indicator to spell out messages during a séance. The sign itself contains the numbers 0 to 9, as well as the words Yes, No and Goodbye.
Spiritualists believed that the dead could contact the living and reportedly used a talking board in their Ohio camps in 1886 that closely resembled a modern day ouija board to supposedly allow for faster communication with spirits. On July 1st, 1890, Elijah Bond took this idea and commercialized it. Since then, the ouija board was considered a harmless board game that had nothing to do with the occult, until American spiritualist Pearl Curran introduced the board during the first world war and made it popular.
A twist on the classic talking board with planchette for spirit reading. This spirit board is designed for light-hearted fun and is not a professional tool for making spiritual connections.
